2019 Direct Care Worker of the Year Nominees

Congratulations to our agency nominees for the 2019 Direct Care Worker of the Year Award, Deborah Hardison and Glenda Beal! Presented by PHA and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, this award is granted to a DCW providing care and support for individuals age 60 and older. Deb and Glenda were invited to the Direct Care Worker Forum on March 27th in Harrisburg, which featured lunch, a half-day training program and ended with the announcement of the DCW of the Year Award. The winner received a cash prize of $1,000 from the PHA.

We can’t think of any two people more deserving of this nomination than Deb and Glenda, who go above and beyond for their consumers every single day. We were honored to send them to Harrisburg to represent our agency. They truly exemplify the essence of our organization. We are so lucky to have these two lovely ladies as part of our Unlimited Care Family!
