Quality care is our number one priority. Our staff undergo an extensive paid-training program with scenarios located both in-office and in-the-home.

During in-office training, new staff are joined by a few of our superstar clients who walk them through what it’s like to work together, listen, and adapt to someone else’s needs and preferences.

Our caregivers are trained in First Aid and CPR, lifts and equipment, proper techniques, cooking, as well as potential ability-specific scenarios.

Recruiter

Unlimited Care is seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruiter to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise in tracking, interviewing, testing, and referring qualified applicants to our agency’s various departments. As a Recruiter, you will play a key role in shaping the agency’s recruiting practices by bringing innovative ideas, strategies, and direction.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Process job requisitions.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with colleges, universities, personnel agencies, and advertising agencies to source qualified candidates.
  • Understand and align with program job service needs.
  • Screen and interview applicants.
  • Coordinate employment testing as required.
  • Conduct employment verifications and reference checks.
  • Manage background checks, drug tests, TB tests, and physicals.
  • Maintain and promote employee referral programs.
  • Participate in new employee orientation.
  • Conduct exit interviews with terminating employees.
  • Maintain records in accordance with affirmative action and EEO policies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of recruiting and onboarding processes.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of professional experience in the human resources field, preferably with non-profit organizations.
  • Valid driver’s license required; Motor Vehicle Record Check required.
  • Must submit to pre-employment, annual, random, and for-cause drug screenings.

Activities Coordinator

Our Ability Works activity program is a progressive, non-funded program designed to enhance one’s independence through social, educational, and recreational opportunities. The Activities Coordinator position is responsible for crafting, facilitating, and continuously developing all monthly activities in our spacious, accessible Community Room at our Main office.

This passion position will be responsible for the development of all marketing-related initiatives and materials, as well as maintaining strong internal and external communications with participants, support staff, and partnering entities. He/she/they will identify, develop, and foster relationships to support long-term and short-term growth priorities.

Accounting Specialist

Unlimited Care is currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for processing accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. The perfect candidate will have a collaborator attitude with the ability to work independently. He/she/they will demonstrate commitment to continued professional growth and development and will take an active role and serve on agency committees, in work groups, and in meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • 1 years’ experience in accounts payable, non-profit accounting experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Windows, Microsoft office applications, and the ability to learn and work with various accounting software. Experience with Abila and Fund Accounting a plus.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for occasional travel.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) 

ALUCP is currently seeking responsible, caring, and dedicated people to fill part-time Direct Support Professional positions in:

Moxham- Mon-Fri 10am to 2pm or 12pm to 4pm
Wilmore- Tues & Thurs 10am to 1pm
Richland- Tues & Thurs 10am to 1pm
South Fork- 1st and 3rd Tues 4:30 to 8pm for church and every Thursday from 4pm to 7pm for community outings

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) play a crucial role in fulfilling the mission of AUCP by helping with daily activities such as preparing meals, administering medication if needed, and providing transportation to community activities in order to promote independence. To be successful in this role, you must be compassionate, motivated to help others, and dedicated to providing quality support.

Duties and Responsibilities (DSP):
  • Provide direct care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and specialized care in daily living, social, and recreational activities.
  • Provide support and assistance to foster maximum independence of individuals.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the individual support plan.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals.

Direct Care Workers (DCW) needed in Richland and Windber

We are seeking a warm-hearted and reliable Direct Care Worker to provide high-quality care to our clients in Windber and Richland. As a DCW, you will assist with daily living activities, ensure safety, and offer companionship to our clients, helping them maintain an independent and dignified life in their own homes. We are extremely flexible with schedules and will do our best to fit it to YOUR availability.

Caregiver needed in New Castle and Bessemer

Our caregivers provide non-medical in-home personal care as outlined by individual service plans; including, but not limited to: transferring, bathing, toileting, feeding, housekeeping, errands, and emergency response. DCWs are companions, friends, and often referred to as “family” when our friends talk about them. It’s important for our caregivers to observe and report their consumer’s condition to the office to ensure their care and independence is always our top priority. Caregivers have a big heart! No previous experience required.

Residential Program Worker (RPW) — Salix, St. Michael, Vinco, Johnstown

RPWs become teammates, friends, family members, and companions to our residents in our various Community Living Arrangements (CLAs) throughout the county. They provide a full-range of personal care services while involving the resident in completing daily living tasks and personal hygiene needs. It’s all about showing up for someone, teaching, spending time together, and supporting independence!

Requirements:

Regional Care Specialist

Our Regional Care Specialists provide back-up and emergency personal care services according to assigned service plans; including, but not limited to: transferring, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Regional Care Specialists provide mobility assistance, which may include travel outside of the home for appointments and errands. What’s great about Regional Care Specialists is their ability to adapt! No previous experience required.

Van Driver – Cambria and Somerset Counties

This opportunity will allow the right candidate to truly make a difference, influence the direction of the entire transportation team and impact our community.
